Description: Pomegranate L+D is a Letterpress Printer and Design Studio. The classic art of hand letterpress with modern design and technology in an environmentally sustainable way are combined. The logo needed to be modern, clean and simple, but also reflecting the traditional printing history. It needed to be designed for printing on a letterpress as well as viewing in the online world. In order to show our hand crafted quality, a Pomegranate tree was hand drawn scanned and then drawn in Illustrator. The final touch was using the fruit itself to replace the "O", it allows us flexibility when the tree cannot be used for small space applications.
