Description: Sonderborg Airport is a small airport on the island of Als in Denmark and is primarily used for business travel to Copenhagen, but also houses a fleet of privately owned aircraft and small, independent flight services. To express security, openness and helpfulness, we have designed a logo that resembles the tail of a swallow, which is famous for its flying skills and its ability to build a safe home for its offspring. The upwards sweeping line conveys an impression of growth, where the combination of bordeaux and black symbolises professionalism and experience. The logo also resembles one half of a broad smile, underlining the fact many different elements work perfectly together to offer customers a special experience.
